How We Completely Transformed CVL Systems
We unveiled a bold new brand identity for security solutions provider CVL Systems.
Established in 2009, CVL has built its reputation on delivering end-to-end security solutions to clients across the UK. Over the past 16 years, the company has become known for its reliability, technical expertise, and commitment to long-term client relationships, providing peace of mind and protection for organisations in a wide range of industries.
Despite its continued growth and success, CVL recognised that its visual identity no longer reflected the modern, forward-thinking company it had become. That realisation sparked a collaboration with us.
Reflecting on the rebrand, James Gant, Managing Director at CVL Systems, explained “The rebrand was about showing who we’ve become. CVL has grown from a small local security business into a trusted systems provider working across education, councils and commercial sectors. It was time the brand caught up with the business.”
“ThisNotThat understood our roots, our clients, and how we like to do things. The result feels genuine, not corporate, and sets us up well for where we’re heading next.”
Together, we embarked on a deep exploration of CVL’s identity: what the company stands for, what it delivers, and what truly sets it apart. That process became the foundation for CVL’s refreshed look, which includes a new logo, colour palette, typography, and the tagline “Secure What Matters.”

CVL Systems New Collection of Marketing Collateral
The new identity reflects CVL’s complete, connected approach to security. The interlocking design of the C, V, and L in the logo represents the company’s integrated systems and trusted relationships, while the refreshed colour palette - featuring ‘Integrity Green’ and ‘Neon Pulse’ - captures CVL’s values of strength, reliability, and innovation.

CVL Systems Logo Architecture
The new brand identity officially launched on 17th November, rolling out across all CVL platforms, including the company’s website, communications, and client materials. The rebrand represents both a celebration of CVL’s journey and a continued commitment to the company’s purpose to Secure What Matters.
